Note

The CRS326 boots SwOS by default. RouterOS can be enabled via a dual-boot switch in SwOS settings if full routing/firewall features are needed. For a pure L2 switch role, SwOS is sufficient.

Network position

The-Egg (192.168.1.1) → PENFOLD-SW01 (192.168.1.3) → wired LAN hosts

All rack-mounted wired devices (proxfold, NAS, etc.) connect to PENFOLD-SW01. Wi-Fi clients connect directly to The-Egg's integrated AP and are not routed through this switch.
